Towers and Wands

A tower is a piece of stone worked into a column, polished along its length and cut flat at the base so it stands on its own. A wand is the same idea in the hand: slim enough to hold, and finished to a point at one end. Every wand has that pointed tip. The base doesn't always sit flat, so it's a piece to hold or rest, rather than to stand up. Both show you the stone from top to bottom, with the markings running the full height rather than across a single face.

Every tower and wand here is one I've chosen myself. Each is cut and polished by hand, so no two are alike, and the grain runs differently through every one.

I describe what is actually there (the colour, the markings and any fault) rather than what a stone is supposed to do. Pieces are one off, and where I know where a stone was mined, the listing says so.
