Slices and Geodes

The Whole Story, Cut Open

A slice is the same stone you'd meet in the rough, just shown from the other side. Cut across an agate nodule, a geode or a seam of jasper, and everything that happened inside it opens up: the bands, the drusy, the little hollow at the centre. Nothing added and nothing hidden.

Every slice here is one I've chosen myself, and the same rule applies as it does across the shop. Where a supplier can tell me where a stone comes from and how the ethics behind it are handled, I buy. Where they can't, I don't.

Slices are one-offs, so once a piece sells it may not come back. If you've got your eye on one and want to know its size, weight or where it came from, just ask me.
