I started Ethical Spirit because of what I found out about the crystal industry. Child labour, low pay, dangerous working conditions and exploitation running right through it. I didn't want to be a part of that - so I stopped buying from it and started something different instead.

Everything here is chosen by me, piece by piece - the crystals, herbs and resins, the balms and the candles. If I wouldn't use it myself, it doesn't go on the shelf.

If a supplier can tell me where their materials come from and source responsibly, I'll buy from them. If they can't, I usually won't. That means fewer things on offer than you'll find elsewhere and sometimes a longer wait for a restock but it's worth it.

I'm just someone who lives in Luton and cares about natural wellbeing, quiet rituals and the planet we're doing all of this on. I believe your spiritual practice shoudn't come at the expense of the planet or the people on it.
