Banded Agate Display Slice

A polished slice of natural banded agate, cut across the stone so the growth lines run through the face in ribbons of cream, honey and white. The rind is left natural around the outer edge, in a warm amber-brown where the stone was closest to the outside.

A small naturally formed hole is near one end, so it can also be hung if you'd rather.

Stone: Natural banded agate.

Size: Approximately 9cm across.

Use: For display on a shelf, altar or windowsill. Stand it or hang it out of direct sunlight, as the colour can fade over time.

Care: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Agate is a hard stone, but keep it away from hard knocks, which can chip the polished face.
