A pyramid of carnelian and copper, cast in resin and polished smooth on every face. The carnelian sits through it as small tumbled chips, so the orange is scattered rather than solid and shifts from amber to a deeper red depending on the light. The copper sits alongside it in bright strands.
It's weighty for its size and sits flat, so it holds its place on a shelf or a windowsill. Held up to the light the resin goes slightly translucent, and the chips show through it.
Size: 7cm across the base, 5cm tall.
Care: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators.
One only: the piece in the photographs is the one that arrives.
